Bird of prey park
in Umhausen Ötztal
The Birds of Prey Park in Umhausen: an experience for young and old, the area covers 5,000 m2 including an open-air arena with 300 seats, where spectacular flight demonstrations will take place daily. The area is located right next to the Ötzi village and offers a new home to a wide variety of birds of prey in 15 aviaries. In the bird of prey park you will find falcons, eagles, vultures, owls, buzzards, kites and ravens.
A nature trail serves as the best guide through the park and offers information on the history of falconry. Of course, further information about the barrier-free accessible park and falconry can be obtained in the accompanying store.
Flight demonstrations
11.30 a.m. and 2.30 p.m.
from 01.09.2022 - no flight demonstration at 16.00 o'clock on Sundays and holidays
The demonstrations last 45 minutes each.
Visiting the birds
There is a possibility to visit the birds in the aviaries about 30 minutes before and after the flight demonstration.

Monday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
No admission during and after the air show.
