Nature Park House Längenfeld
The Nature Park House sees itself as an information hub and competence center for the Ötztal nature. The central element of the house is the natural history exhibition. It shows in a unique way special Ötztal plants, animals, habitats and geology including the valley-forming landslides. The theme of water is also presented in all its facets - from glaciers to lakes, rivers and moors.
In addition to bilingual information panels (German and English), content is conveyed via audio stations, touch screens, VR glasses and holograms. Exhibits in the form of original wood carvings reflect the claim to experience and feel nature tours in the field.
In addition to the permanent exhibition, the Nature Park House includes a 70m² multifunctional room for mobile temporary exhibitions, lectures, seminars and workshops. The building also houses a store with regional products, a library and the nature park administration.
