Siegerlandhütte
The Siegerland Hütte proudly towers above the Windach Valley in the Stubai Alps. It is located at 2,710 m above sea level - not far from the border with South Tyrol. We, the Fiegl family from Sölden, welcome you to the Siegerland Hütte. Since 1981 we are the tenants of the hut. This spot of earth is our home and we wish our guests and friends that you also enjoy the nature and the beautiful hut and take recreation and beautiful memories home with you. The hut was built in 1928/1929 and inaugurated in 1930. It is owned by the German Alpine Club, Siegerland Section. The hut has always been well maintained. Every year, during the Section's work schedule, a lot of renovation, building and painting is done. The Siegerland Hut is certainly not the most comfortable and also not the oldest hut, but certainly one of the most beautiful huts in the Stubai Mountains. With us there are no hot showers, no climbing wall and no fries ... but we guarantee you a hut experience that you will certainly not forget. The hut is characterized by its simplicity - but believe us when we say, nowhere does Kaiserschmarren taste better than at altitude.
